Welcome to the newly formed IPWatchdog.com blog. My name is Gene Quinn and I am a patent attorney, law professor and author. I founded IPWatchdog.com in 1999, and since that time the site has been a trusted resource for well over 1 million visitors, making IPWatchdog.com one of the most popular websites devoted to intellectual property issues.
At the end of 2007, IPWatchdog.com was once again given a face lift. Periodically throughout the years the site has taken on new looks and functionality in order to keep up with the times. In this latest revision to our site we have elected to use a WordPress blog platform, which will offer us not only the ability to have static information pages (what IPWatchdog.com has become known for providing) but also will allow us to integrate a blog, which is fast becoming the “in” way to communicate with readers over the web.
For those who have been with us as readers for some time, we hope that you enjoy this new format. For those new to our site we likewise hope you find the site to be useful, educational and perhaps even entertaining from time to time.
Thank you for coming to IPWatchdog.com! We appreciate your support!
-Gene
