Tell A Friend!

There is really no way to spin this as an intellectual property story, so I won’t even try.

Are you ready for some football?  The NFL football season is rapidly approaching and that means it is time for fantasy football.  I tried fantasy football for the first time last year, and it was a lot of fun. With this in mind, I thought it might be fun to see if readers of IPWatchdog.com might be interested in joining together in an IPWatchdog Fantasy Football league.

I have created a league on ESPN, and the draft is scheduled for Sunday, August 30 at 3pm.  If you are interested in joining let me know and I will send you an invite.

  6. Bart-

Fantasy football is based off American football. You select players for your teams roster and depending upon how they play on any given week you score points. For more information about it take a look at:

Just sent you an invite. The e-mail will come from ESPN, so if you do not see it in your inbox check your spam folder.

  9. Renee-

Trash talking even before the draft, huh? Make sure you have Plax high on your draft board. He will probably light up the NY State Penal League this fall!

  10. Since my idea of a great football game is 2-0 on a safety in overtime I’ve never gotten into fantasy football.

I did win a fantasy NASCAR league one year.

  11. Come on Alan! If you can play fantasy NASCAR you have to give fantasy football a try! Since you like defensive games you will be glad to know that I have set the league up to play with some defensive players as well… DL, LB and CB/S.

  12. Count me in too.

  13. OK Katie. I just sent you an invite. We have 6 people signed up now, and 4 invites, including yours, pending. My goal is to have somewhere between 10-12 teams, so it looks like we are getting close.

    Thanks for your interest!

    -Gene

  14. I would like to play if you still have openings.

  15. Reese-

I just sent you an invite, which will come directly from ESPN, so if you don’t see it in your inbox check your spam folder.

We are up to 8 people signed up and now 3 invites pending, including the one sent to you. The draft is Sunday, August 30 at 3pm Eastern. My hope is to have 10 or 12 teams. Would obviously prefer to have an even number so there doesn’t need to be bye weeks. If you are interested in signing up let me know. Those who have been invited that have not joined by close of business on Friday will have the invite deleted. That way I have Friday night and Saturday to come up with an extra team if necessary to have an even number.

  16. I’m definitely interested. I’ll be looking out for the invite!

  17. On a purely vicarious level, what were the results of the draft?
