I am pleased to let everyone know that the ABA Journal has selected the IPWatchdog Blog as one of the top 100 best websites by lawyers, for lawyers. Late yesterday I received the e-mail from the ABA Journal informing me that IPWatchdog.com was included in the 2009 ABA Journal Blawg 100.
Now it is time to vote your favorites in each of the Blawg 100’s 10 categories. Voting ends Dec. 31, 2009. For the full list and all of the commentary, Twitter links and more visit the Third Annual ABA Journal Blawg 100.
Here is what the ABA Journal had to say:
Did you sit down last Dec. 31 and draw up a list of patent wishes for 2009? Gene Quinn did. This Leesburg, Va.-based watchdog keeps tabs on the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, devours and analyzes draft reports on gene patents, and speculates on what the Obama administration will mean to patent law.

Quick Take: IP Watchdog’s parent website, IPWatchdog.com, marked its 10-year anniversary this fall.
What follows is a list of the ABA Blawg 100 for 2009. Congratulations to everyone on the list, and thank you to all our readers!
