Might I also suggest giving them (and yourself as well if you haven’t already done so) a copy of the excellent (and always timely) 2008 movie “Flash of Genius.”

Just remember to hold on tight to your family . . . while you’re getting your invention . . . and fighting your infringers. Something Robert Kearns got seriously, terribly wrong.

Far, far better to give up the patent dream than to give up your family.
