Gene Quinn, Patent Attorney & President, IPWatchdog, Inc.
Gene is a Patent Attorney and Editor and founder of IPWatchdog.com. Gene also teaching a Patent Bar Review Course and is an attorney with Widerman Malek. Gene’s specialty is in the area of strategic patent consulting, patent application drafting and patent prosecution. He consults with attorneys facing peculiar procedural issues at the Patent Office, advises investors and executives on patent law changes and pending litigation matters, and works with start-up businesses throughout the United States and around the world, primarily dealing with software and computer related innovations.
Ray Millien, Chief IP Counsel, GE Oil & Gas
Raymond Millien is a prominent intellectual property attorney who holds a BS from Columbia University and a JD from The George Washington University School of Law. In 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2015, Mr. Millien was recognized as one of the “World’s 300 Leading IP Strategists” by IAM Magazine.
Mr. Millien is currently Associate General Counsel for IP & Engineering for GE Oil & Gas.
Previously, Mr. Millien was General Counsel of Ocean Tomo, LLC, and Vice President and IP Counsel at The American Express Company. Mr. Millien has also practiced law in the Washington, DC offices of PCT Law Group, PLLC, DLA Piper US LLP and Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox PLLC.
Maneesha Joshi, Data Scientist, Innography
Maneesha has several years of experience in mining, correlating and conflating disparate data. At Innography, she is part of the engineering team responsible for the ingest, cleaning and correlating of patent, trademark and litigation data. She was the development lead for Innography’s managed service offerings including PatentMarketTracker and PatentGuard. Prior to Innography, she was with TomTom NV where she worked on automated extraction, recognition and placement of road features from GPS traces, satellite imagery and road geometry for TomTom’s car navigation product. Maneesha holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from Ohio State University.
