Cole Schotz Elevates David Gold to Member

HACKENSACK, NEW JERSEY – Cole Schotz P.C. is pleased to announce that IP Attorney David Gold, along with attorneys Nicholas J. Brannick, Robert M. DiPisa, and Matthew S. Schneid, have been elevated to members of the firm, effective January 1, 2018. The four new members are resident in the firm’s Delaware, New Jersey and New York offices.

David Gold is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property and Litigation Departments, as well as the Restaurant & Hospitality Industry Group and is resident in the New Jersey office. Mr. Gold advises on the protection, enforcement and monetization of intellectual property including copyrights, trademarks, and patents, helping to leverage creativity in ways that make smart business sense. Known for offering practical solutions, Mr. Gold evaluates businesses and brands from a holistic standpoint, often going far beyond traditional legal advice to identify opportunities and risk that may not always be front of mind. Once a full picture is achieved and goals are set, Mr. Gold works with his clients to reach those goals in a streamlined and cost-effective manner.

Mr. Gold also counsels artists and creative entrepreneurs including musicians and other performing artists, authors, fashion designers, photographers and graphic designers, as well as arts organizations, media and marketing companies, and other corporate entities. Mr. Gold earned his J.D. from Rutgers Law School (Newark), his M.A. from New York University, and his B.A. from Brown University.

Joining with David are, Nicholas Brannick, a member of the firm’s Bankruptcy and Corporate Restructuring and Litigation Departments who is resident in the Delaware office; Robert DiPisa, a member of the firm’s Real Estate Department who is resident in the New Jersey office; and Matthew Schneid, a member of the firm’s Real Estate Department who is resident in the New York office.
