He is the head of Bird & Bird's Corporate Group in the UK and has worked in both London and Tokyo advising on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and venture capital transactions. With extensive experience of international deals, Neil has managed complex transactions involving multiple countries, including those where buyers, sellers and assets are located wholly outside of the UK with the principal agreements being governed by English law. He has particular experience handling auction transactions, both for buyers and sellers, as well as complex carve-outs and the separation issues that arise from these. He also advises on general company law and corporate governance.
