With the advent of the agile software development process, many attorneys are trying to create a flexible approach to protect such software that matches the somewhat amorphous process of “agile” development. Unlike traditional software development, in which the overall software requirements are determined at the beginning of what will be a years-long project, agile development is broken into sprints that can be redefined as often as each week.
