Brilliant! Wish it weren’t so, but you captured the state of things brilliantly.

December 25, 2015 08:52 amT’was the night before XMAS
And all about the Supreme Core(t)
Nothing was innovative enough
Nothing was significantly more
All are mere abstractions
Not for inventors satisfaction
Can’t get those IP rights no no no
Keep it a secret and let ’em eat crow
Economy of our nation
Ain’t supposed to expand
Only the throwbacks
Now rule our land
But why be sour
Why be insecure
The Constitution giveth us
Supreme justice manure
On Alice, On Mayo and even Bilski too
You may have a patent
But not for which you can sue
And on that cheerful note:
Happy Holidays to Gene and his brood
And to all you patent geeks in the IP neighborhood
–Steppy
