Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto Names Three New Partners

Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto, one of the world’s leading intellectual property law firms, announced today that Susanne Flanders, Natalie Lieber, and Dennis McMahon have been named partners in the firm, effective January 1, 2017.

Suzanne FlandersSusanne Flanders’ patent litigation practice focuses on biotechnology, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices. She works on litigations arising under the Hatch-Waxman Act and inter partes review (IPR) proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). She has also contributed to appellate briefs before the Federal Circuit. She has proudly represented pharmaceutical industry leaders on cases pertaining to drugs for the treatment of kidney disease, colorectal cancer, pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors, renal cell carcinoma, and breast cancer. Susanne has a B.S. in biology from Villanova University and a law degree, magna cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School.

Natalie LieberNatalie Lieber has experience with all aspects of patent litigation in the federal courts, IPR proceedings at the USPTO, and International Trade Commission investigations. She has had leadership roles in numerous patent jury and bench trials. Her litigation work spans a broad range of technologies from pharmaceuticals and consumer products to electronics, telecommunications, and network technology. Natalie has a B.E. in chemical engineering from Cooper Union and a law degree, cum laude, from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.

Dennis McMahonDennis McMahon practices general intellectual property law with an emphasis on patent litigation, where he has substantial experience representing clients in a variety of technologies, ranging from consumer electronics to pharmaceuticals. He has been a member of several trial teams in various federal courts, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in jury and bench trials. Dennis’ experience also includes contested proceedings before the USPTO, trademark clearance and prosecution, and intellectual property transactions and due diligence. He is also a member of the NYIPLA’s Patent Litigation Committee. Dennis has a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Villanova University, and a law degree, magna cum laude, from Seton Hall University School of Law.
