Richard A. Catalina, Jr. Joins Wallack LLP

Princeton, NJ — Hill Wallack LLP is pleased to welcome Richard A. Catalina, Jr. as a partner in the firm’s Princeton, N.J. office. Mr. Catalina is the partner in charge of the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group and is a member of firm’s Life Sciences practice group. Mr. Catalina is a registered patent attorney (45,372) and Certified Licensing Professional™. He joins us from Wilentz Goldman & Spitzer.

Mr. Catalina regularly advises clients in a wide array of intellectual property and patent-based matters, including procurement, protection, enforcement and monetization. Mr. Catalina has successfully prosecuted numerous patent matters in a variety of technical arts before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and has extensive experience litigating complex intellectual property disputes, including patent and trademark infringement, unfair competition and various claims arising under the Lanham Act. He also regularly represents clients in trademark prosecution proceedings, as well as inter partes and ex parte matters before the USPTO. Mr. Catalina has developed an expertise in licensing matters involving all forms of intellectual property, including software and cloud-based solutions and platforms.

Mr. Catalina is admitted to practice in New Jersey, the U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey and U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He earned his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law. He received his B.S. in Biology and Chemistry from Trenton State College (The College of New Jersey).
