Drinker, Biddle & Reath is Seeking a Patent Agent for its Washington, D.C. Office

Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP is seeking candidates for a Patent Agent – Biotech/Chemical position in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.  This position is a Full Time, Permanent position.

Duties To Include

Qualified candidates should be able to conduct patent searches, assist with patent preparation and prosecution patent applications. Familiarity with and technical experience in the areas in Biotechnology and Chemistry are preferred. We are looking for candidates with strong writing skills, and a superior record of academic and professional achievement. The successful candidate will have the ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently while producing top quality work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications Required

Candidates must be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and should have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a law firm, or at the U.S. Patent and Trademark office. Candidates with at least a M.S. degree or Doctorate in Biotechnology or Chemistry or laboratory experience are preferred.
