Innovators Legal Seeking Technical Advisor Or Patent Agent With a PhD or Other Advanced Degree

Innovators Legal has an immediate opening for a technical advisor or patent agent with a PhD or other advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline. Applicants must have superior written and oral communication skills and be registered to practice before the USPTO or otherwise eligible to take the examination to become registered to practice before the USPTO. A preference will be given to applicants with industry or post-graduate research experience in robotics and advanced manufacturing systems, semiconductor fabrication, microelectromechanical systems sensing, signal processing, analog circuitry and signal processing systems, or edge computing and IoT devices.

Job Location: Atlanta, GA (remote)
Type of Position: Full Time, Permanent

Duties Include:

Duties (commensurate with experience) to include patent preparation and prosecution, US and foreign patent portfolio development, client counseling, and opinions and due diligence for early-stage investments in robotics and advanced manufacturing systems, semiconductor fabrication, microelectromechanical systems sensing, signal processing, analog circuitry and signal processing systems, or edge computing and IoT devices.

Qualifications Required:

Qualified candidates should (i) have an advanced degree and/or relevant industry research experience in the identified disciplines, (ii) be eligible to work in the United States, and (iii) be registered to practice before the USPTO or otherwise eligible to sit for the examination to become registered to practice before the USPTO.
