McNees Wallace & Nurick, a Central PA-based law firm with a Mid-Atlantic practice, is actively recruiting an experienced patent associate attorney to join our Intellectual Property practice group.
Candidates with sufficient experience will be offered the flexibility to work remotely, but must be able to be present periodically in one of the following offices: Harrisburg, PA; Devon (Main Line), PA; Lancaster, PA; Columbus, OH; or Frederick, MD. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities include all aspects of patent practice including preparation and prosecution of patent applications and patent opinion work.
The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in biomedical-focused science or engineering or a background in biomedical or biomechanical technology and a minimum of two years’ experience with a primary focus on preparing and prosecuting patent applications. Admission to the Pennsylvania, Ohio, or Maryland Bar (or the ability to become admitted to practice in one of these jurisdictions) and USPTO admission are requirements.
