Christopher & Weisberg, P.A. is seeking a Patent Attorney or Agent practicing in the Electrical & Mechanical field for the full-time, permanent, in-person position located in Plantation, FL.

Christopher & Weisberg, P.A. is an IP Boutique firm located in a great place (South Florida!) with great people working together to serve great clients. This is not a posting for full-time remote or piece work. We want an attorney in our Plantation, FL office (Miami/Ft. Lauderdale Metro) that is an engaged member of a team, although a few people do work a few days per week remotely. We are looking for attorneys (or perhaps agents) with electrical/telecom/computer degrees, as well as mechanical/medical device backgrounds and hopefully industry experience.

Duties Include:

The person selected for this position will handle typical patent preparation and prosecution for domestic and international clients. If interested, the selected candidate can work on trademark, copyright, dispute/litigation, and licensing matters.

Qualifications Required:

The candidate for this position must have a BS and preferably an MS and/or industry experience and 2+ years patent prosecution experience and must be registered with the USPTO and willing (if an attorney) to sit for the Florida Bar.
