About NLO:

NLO is a long-established top-tier, international IP firm and one of Europe’s largest IP consultancies. Employing over 220 staff across its offices in The Hague, Amsterdam, Ede, Eindhoven and Ghent, and Mechelen in Belgium, the firm provides full-scale IP support for clients’ portfolios.

NLO was founded in 1888 and has evolved over the years to align its services to their broad client base. Aspects of this include the employment of a commercial management team to help drive the strategic direction of the business. Additionally, NLO uses state-of-the-art administrative support, providing clients with portfolio monitoring and management that is both accurate and up to date. Their IP management system is of the highest available quality. It ensures instant and reliable handling of their numerous cases. It also allows clients direct access to their portfolio on a daily basis, so that they can reduce further IP administrative support.
NLO provides full-scale support for clients’ patent portfolios, suggesting more economic and effective alternatives to standard procedures. They also have broad knowledge and experience in the trademark and design field. Their trademark and design consultants have expertise in dealing with trademark and design matters across the globe. NLO’s specialists also draw agreements such as, assignments and JDA’s to ensure that clients’ IP interests are adequately safeguarded. Clients can count on clear advice from NLO on all other legal topics relating to IP rights – ranging from search to seizure and design conflict to due diligence.

To support the ongoing growth of the firm, NLO launched its own academy in 2017 to act as a conduit for graduates coming into the profession. With this firmly in place and working successfully, NLO is now looking to cement its attorney resource through the appointment of a qualified attorney to join their pharmaceutical section.

Working for NLO means working at the frontline of the innovation industry. The firm’s size offers much diversity and provides for sufficient opportunities for further development.
