Patent Practice Training: An Introduction to Patent Prosecution

May 20, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 10:30 pm EDT

$1,995

You’ve passed the patent bar exam. Now what? Having a license to practice is just the beginning. What you need is a bridge between passing the patent bar and representing clients.

This is why Gene Quinn and John White designed An Introduction to Patent Prosecution: Patent Practice for Beginners. This interactive, live, online distance course will provide all the tools necessary to hit the ground running. From interacting with clients to agreements, to handling money, to drafting applications and responding to Office Actions, this course covers it all.

This course will meet for 6 days from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM EDT:

  • May 20, 22, 24 (M-W-F)
  • May 29, 31 (W-F)
  • June 3 (M)

Each class will be recorded so students who are unable to attend will be able to watch the lecture.

We will address everything you may need to do up to and including filing a Notice of Appeal at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Students who register for the course will also be invited to monthly mentoring sessions with John and Gene for a full year. These additional sessions will follow the same model as our tutorials, which will be open Q&A forums where those present can ask non-confidential questions about practice, the law, the MPEP, or whatever.
