Ludwig APC covers the complete spectrum of intellectual property (“IP”) rights management, IP prosecution, and transactional needs worldwide.  Founded by an experienced trial lawyer, Eric Ludwig, his practice focuses on Intellectual Property Litigation. His background includes litigating all manner of patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret and business dispute cases in federal and state courts throughout the country. Eric has tried nearly two dozen cases to jury verdict and his clients run the gamut from individual inventors and entrepreneurs to Fortune 50 companies.

Eric began his legal career with San Diego-based Procopio, handling all aspects of national and international intellectual property litigation matters for cases arising out of the U.S., Europe, Asia, and India. After leaving Procopio, Eric discovered his passion for trials during his six years as a prosecutor for San Diego District Attorney’s office, while serving in the Economic Crimes, Superior Court, and Special Operations Divisions, focusing on the investigation and prosecution of complex felony cases, including financial crimes, counter-terrorism, and political corruption.

Eric is an IAPP-Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and Information Privacy Manager (CIPM).
