Chris Storm is a senior counsel at Uber, where he serves as both product counsel and head of intellectual property for Uber’s advanced technologies group (ATG). As product counsel, Mr Storm leads a cross-functional legal team that advises Uber ATG on all legal matters relating to self-driving. As head of intellectual property, he manages a team of IP attorneys dedicated to helping Uber ATG to bring self-driving cars and trucks to market. Before joining Uber, Mr Storm served as assistant general counsel at Bell Helicopter and as an associate at Baker Botts LLP. He has a BS in aerospace engineering and an MS in technology commercialisation from the University of Texas and a JD from the University of Houston Law Centre.
