Durga Malladi

Durga Malladi is Senior Vice President and General Manager, Cellular Modems & Infrastructure of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. In this role, Malladi is responsible to further scale and execute our integrated end-to-end 5G plan across Mobile, Infrastructure, IoT and Automotive business. The CMI products and technologies span cellular baseband (Wireless Fiber, MDMs) modems and transceivers; position location; infrastructure modem-RF (small cells, vDU, RU) and private networks; and commercial engagement with 5G ecosystem partners.

Malladi joined Qualcomm in 1998 as a Senior Engineer. Over the past 24 years, he has worked on 3G, 4G and 5G technologies in various R&D and Business leadership roles.

He holds a B.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and an M.S and Ph.D. from UCLA. He is a member of Senior IEEE and holds 564 U.S. patents.
