John C. Cain

John Cain is a partner in the technology/intellectual property law group of Munck Wilson Mandala, where he handles all aspects of intellectual property counseling and transactional practice and litigation, with an emphasis on trademark portfolio management and trademark and copyright clearance, procurement, licensing and enforcement. John represents clients of all sizes in numerous industries, including retail consumer products, semiconductors, telecommunications, insurance, oilfield tools, electronics and financial services.

John brings 30 years of experience working with clients on IP counseling, trademark portfolio management and trademark and copyright clearance, procurement, licensing, and enforcement.  John has built a highly successful trademark practice supplemented by an extensive network of trademark professionals around the globe. As a long-time active committees member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) John works with an extensive, hand-picked network of trademark professionals around the world to manage international portfolios for several trademark clients.

In addition to his status as a registered patent attorney, John holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Texas A&M University, and he is an inactive registered professional engineer.
