Paul started his career in patent law in 1991 as a Patent Examiner with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, examining patent applications in the areas of computer hardware and database systems. Prior to founding Harrity & Harrity, LLP in 1999, Paul worked as a patent agent and later as an associate at the law firm of Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, L.L.P. Prior to joining the Patent Office, Paul gained valuable industry experience as a troubleshooter at IBM and a design engineer at General Dynamics.
