McNees Attorney to Speak at Upcoming Inventors Network Meeting

COLUMBUS, Oh. – (July 1, 2019) McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC intellectual property attorney Diane Dobrea will speak at the Inventors Network meeting at Rev1 Ventures for Columbus on July 9, 2019.

Diane will present “Identifying Opportunities for Inventors and Mechanisms for Securing a Competitive Advantage.”  She will dive into what is needed for an invention to succeed and outline a business-wise approach that will help mitigate loss and optimize opportunity for a return on investment.

Diane is in the McNees Intellectual Property Practice Group where she provides clients broad-based strategic guidance on IP strategy and portfolio management.  She provides patent and trademark due diligence and freedom to operate analyses and opinions, drafts and negotiates agreements in a wide range of R&D and intellectual property related transactions, prepares and prosecutes patent and trademark matters, and assists in dispute resolution concerning intellectual property.  She also assists clients in securing private and governmental funding, including Federal SBIR/STTR contracts and grants, and has experience with FDA regulatory and quality related functions in the medical technology space.
