Content Marketing Starts with Sponsoring an IPWatchdog Webinar
Content marketing is a form of marketing that focuses on creating and distributing free content for a specifically targeted audience. Successful content marketing programs can help attract attention, generate leads, increase brand awareness and build credibility. The key to content marketing is attracting potential customers by creating and sharing valuable free content.
This is exactly what we do with our webinar series, and why you should consider sponsoring a webinar with IPWatchdog. As you can see from our repeat sponsors, our results speak for themselves.
Our webinars are typically held every Thursday at 12:00 PM EST and run for 1 hour. We also host webinars on Tuesdays as well, which gives us an opportunity to send one more reminder e-mail ahead of the webinar. The response to our webinars has been phenomenal.
Over the years our webinar series has grown in popularity. In 2020, our webinars have ranged between 350 and 1300 registrants per webinar, with an average of over 600 registrants per webinar. The largest webinar we have done to date had 1,250 registrants and was offered as a free CLE. We are happy to work with sponsors to offer free CLE webinars, which will raise attendance, but this requires the webinar to be planned several months in advance.
In our experience approximately 45% to 65% of registrants attend live. An additional 20% to 30% will attend the webinar on demand once it is posted. These registration and attendance figures make our webinar audience extraordinarily large compared to most other industry webinars.
With such large numbers of registrations this makes sponsoring a webinar far more cost effective than the cost of attending a trade show or other lead generation mechanisms. When you sponsor a webinar based on a substantive topic relevant to your target market you attract pre-qualified leads that you know are interested in that topic.
If you go to Our Webinar Page on IPWatchdog, you can see all of the dates we have available over the next few months as well as the Webinar Topics other Sponsors have chosen. The current cost for Sponsoring a webinar with IPWatchdog is $5,000 and payment is required 1 month prior to the webinar in order to secure the date and topic.
We will provide hosting for all of our webinars, using our webinar platform. Once you have decided on a date, we will collaborate with you on a topic for your webinar and will work with you to come up with a description of your webinar. When we have this information, we will create a dynamic Co-Branded registration landing page on IPWatchdog and we will utilize our connections within the industry to secure a dynamic expert to participate in your webinar.
Upon completion of the webinar, as soon as it becomes available, we will send you the recording of and handouts from the webinar, along with a detailed list of all leads generated through the webinar registrations and whether or not they actually attended. We will send a thank you email to all who registered, whether they attended or not, to let them know that the webinar sponsor will follow up with them with the webinar recording and handouts. We ask that sponsors follow up with all registrants within 1 week of the webinar’s commencement.
You can see examples of our co-branded landing pages, by clicking on any one of the the Register Now buttons on Our Webinar Page. In addition, there is a link from that page to our Gated Past Webinar page, where people can view our previously held webinars while still gathering leads for our sponsors.
Our calendar fills up fast, so if you would like to move forward with sponsoring a webinar with IPWatchdog, once you have a date in mind, please let us know right away so we can reserve it on our calendar and get it loaded to our upcoming Webinars page.
